Job Purpose
We are looking for an Electrical/Mechatronics Engineer, where you’ll play a critical role in enhancing and sustaining our manufacturing processes. Your work will involve solving technical issues on the production floor, improving electrical designs, and ensuring our products are optimised for mass production.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Conduct root cause analyses and resolve electrical issues in the production environment.
- Implement design improvements and maintain electrical schematics, cable drawings, and procedures.
- Review new and modified electrical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Identify opportunities for significant cost reduction and enhance the product’s suitability for series production (DFA).
- Perform sustaining activities, such as managing End of Life (EoL) issues.
Must-Have Qualifications
- MBO(+) or HBO diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Several years of experience in a similar role, preferably within regulated environments.
- Familiarity with UL, CSA, CE, and RoHS requirements.
- Proficiency in E-CAD tools (e.g., SW-electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan).
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the North of the Netherlands (Drachten area).
- Preference for a role in Manufacturing Engineering over R&D.
